At Great Living Now, we want to hear your voice! We welcome your guest blogs. If you have an idea, an epiphany, or something that you have known for a long time that you would like to share, write it down and send it to us. We would love to hear from you.
Guest blogging for us is a lot simpler than it sounds. You write about anything related to self-development, drawing from your own knowledge and experience, email it to us, and selected articles will be featured on Great Living Now.
Writing, especially on a subject that is personally meaningful, is known to be deeply relaxing – even therapeutic. Guest blogging also gives you a chance to express yourself and help many others by sharing your wisdom and experience. Finally, if you have your own blog, guest blogging is one the most effective ways to promote your blog and improve your blog’s page rank.
I remember the first time I submitted a guest blog entry, well before I had my own blog. It was past midnight and I had an idea that I just had to write about. I stayed up until dawn to finish the article. It was the first one that I have ever written. I was nervous. I didn’t know if it was good enough, or if it was going to get accepted. I am glad that I had the guts to try. Since then, I have started my own blog and writing is an important part of my life.
So, don’t be shy! We really want to hear what you have to say.
Here are some guidelines to help get you started. Please don’t hesitate to contact us via info [at] greatlivingnow [dot] com if you have any questions.
- Above all, be original. Your post shouldn’t be published anywhere else, including your own blog. But even more than that, we are looking for ideas that go beyond common knowledge. Don’t be afraid to be yourself and express a unique perspective. Demonstrating how your ideas apply (or have applied) to you in your life is a great way to personalize your message and make it truly one-of-a-kind.
- We are flexible on length. As a rough guideline, somewhere between 1000-1500 words tends to work well, but quality is a lot more important than length. Please do feel free to send shorter or longer articles.
- Tell us a bit about yourself in a short bio. If you have your own blog, feel free to include a link to it in your bio.
- Feel free to provide an image, or we could choose one for you (we reserve the right to replace the image).
When you’re ready, email your article to info [at] greatlivingnow [dot] com with the subject “Guest Post”. We look forward to hearing from you!
Yours truly,
Maya
